"The room was small, stuffy (ac wouldn’t go any further down than 70), and had a smell of old mildew mixed with a bit of mothball. For a one night stay, it was ok. The front desk person checking in and the one checking out were both very cordial and had good customer service so for them I give full stars. The location is also full stars worthy!"

"This hotel's rooms are kind of small but they are totally adequate and well equipped. The location in Little Italy is perfect to walk just about anywhere downtown. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The walk-in shower was luxurious in our room and our window even opened to the sounds of life in Little Italy when we wanted it."

"loved the location, central to everything a tourist to SD needs. airport is 15minutes away. rooms were small but cozy, who needs a giant space when traveling anyway. farmers market at base of hotel on Wednesday and Saturday was awesome. nightlife on street is abundant and plenty of spots to get a drink and some grub. will be back for sure"

"This was our second time staying here. The rooms are small but clean and modern. The staff is great. There is underground parking for a charge. It's a pretty tight fit but our Honda Accord was fine. The parking permit is 1st come 1st serve. The alternative is searching for a place on the street and feeding the meter. The location is fantastic. It's in the heart of San Diego's Little Italy. A charming neighborhood with tons of restaurants within a couple of block radius. The hotel is also 2 blocks from a trolley station. From there, you can access downtown, The Gaslamp, the malls of Mission Valley and other areas of San Diego. This time we went to a concert at Snapdragon Stadium which has its own trolley stop about 15 minutes from the hotel (very convenient)."

"Positives: Good location to Little Italy restaurants and the Trolley lightrail, friendly front desk staff, comfortable bed. Negatives: VERY small room with a small window, poor lighting. No ambience. Felt more like a Motel 6, no closet and the sink was in the bedroom since the bathroom was so small, no housekeeping (have to specifically request it), no coffee maker/supplies, Very limited, tight parking. Needs major updates to be considered a boutique hotel experience. At this pricepoint, will stay elsewhere for future visits to San Diego."
