"We stayed here for a couple of nights this week. We were surprised at how clean and comfortable it was! The staff was very friendly, and we had zero issues. There was a little doggie relief are that was quaint and sufficient. If your goal is Sea World or Fiesta Island dog park, you could not be better located! We will definitely be back! "Overall I have to give the Old Town Inn 5 stars - it definitely exceeded my expectations. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was easy to find, and both the stairs and elevator access require a room key, so that made me feel good. The room is clean and comfortable and has a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and even a 2 burner stove top (though, no igniter so you'd need a lighter to start it). There is a pool as well but we didn't get a chance to use it. Pros: Good location, short driving distance to Old Town, Gaslamp District, downtown Very affordable Very clean and well maintained Cons: Not the quietest of rooms. While I don't hear conversations from neighboring rooms, you do hear everyone who walks by pulling a suitcase. Trains going by are fairly common There is no fan in the bathroom so after a shower it can stay humid for a while"

"This quaint hotel went out of its way to support us. Josh at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is quiet and clean. The location is less than a half mile from Old Town and just a quick walk. The pool is heated and very inviting. Breakfast was delicious, and again, everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Definitely would stay again!"

The standout aspect was the exceptional service from the friendly and attentive staff, in particular the manager Benny C., the front desk receptionist Matty M., and the housekeeper Maria B., who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Overall, Old Town Inn offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting San Diego."

"WHAT A WELL MANAGED AND MAINTAINED HOTEL. We selected this hotel because of it's economical proximity to San Diego's Old Town and the trolley line. Though we arrived two hours prior to listed check-in time, the staff prioritized the cleaning of our room, allowing us to move in within 10 minutes of our arrival. When our room heating unit misbehaved our first night, a hotel maintenance man completed the repair within 30 minutes of our reporting the problem. The place is spotless. The staff is energetic and innordinately friendly. The courtesy breakfast is not spectacular, but well provisioned. Yes, Four Seasons may be better, but for the buck, I found the Old Town Inn a gem!"
