"Nice business hotel, new and great for light business travel. The front desk staff was a bit weird - I had food delivered (because nothing is open late night) and they were annoyed, and then the front desk called me no less than 10 times to push me to leave the room when I was running late on planned checkout. My husband has platinum with Marriott so we had a late checkout through that program so I’m not sure why they felt it appropriate to be so harassing - the hotel was largely empty. Weird experience and I would not recommend for Marriott high tier travelers or frequent business travelers solely because of the service."
"Had to book a large block of rooms for our team to travel for a big game. Element Irvine was the PERFECT choice. Perfect location. The hotel is very clean and fresh. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. Booked late on Superbowl Sunday for the very next day. The director of sales calls me from home to set up all the details. When we showed up, all the keys were ready, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Definitely a 5-star experience."
"We always stay here when we go to Irvine. Hotel is so clean and nice. Hotel staff is always welcoming. The beds are the most comfortable. Gym is well equipped and the neighborhood is super safe. The breakfast has quite a few good grab-and-go options. I love the fancy coffee maker in the lobby!! Hotel bar has inexpensive good apps and flatbreads. My teenage daughter and I travel here once or twice a month, and this is always our home away from home."
"Recently stayed at this new hotel and found it quite noisy – thin walls and ceilings mean you hear every door slam and footsteps from above. It's more like a spruced-up Super 8 with basic rooms and a very limited breakfast. Might not be ideal for light sleepers."
"Positives: ok location, newer hotel. Negative: paper thin walls I could hear people in next room talking, coughing etc. breakfast was somewhat ok but not as good as other hotels in same class, employees at breakfast area seemed inconvenienced by requests. Stayed for 3 nights and no housekeeping service at all even they said it is every other day. Parking price for this area of Orange county is unreasonable Overall I think area has better options and I would not stay again."
