SpringHill Suites by Marriott Irvine John Wayne Airport/Orange County

"Stayed for two nights, asked for restaurant recommendations and they obviously listened our request and suggested the perfect restaurant for us down by the ocean (a bit of a ride, but we'll worth it) a couple of small issues were quickly addressed, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely a fantastic change from most hotels that are uncaring and transactional. I'd highly recommend staying here, it was clean, well maintained and super friendly."

"Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Irvine. The property looks run down from the outside - we arrived at night and it looked so dim from outside the front door we were sure the place was open! Check in was easy and the lobby was clean and modern. The room was surprisingly large and there’s a separate shower and toilet which is great. The seating area has a sofa bed and desk. Standard breakfast. There is a $19 parking fee which is unfathomable, given that most people would have to drive, the hotel is located in a low density area and there’s more than enough parking for all hotel guests (the parking lot was pretty empty). There’s no security (parking is not gated) so really not sure how the parking fees are justified."

"Have stayed at this property several times…mostly for proximity to both airport and Disneyland… this last visit…Jan ‘24….was a real eye opener. the property itself looks a bit tattered, lack of upkeep. there are two elevators, but one “out of order”… and found out it had been that way OVER A MONTH. and, still is… then at front desk, they have two key card reader machines… one is broken and hotel won’t replace the broken machine. turns out an investment group had recently purchased the property… and judging from these two separate issues, they have thus far shown little interest in investing in the maintenance of this Springhill Suites. if this trend is accurate and continues, this place is on a downhill run. for your consideration."

"This place is the worst Marriott I have stayed at. The staff was not friendly and helpful. Asked for towels for the pool to be stocked they replied we will try. I had a package come the day we checked out I asked them if they could mail it to me and I would pay the shipping reply no. This place isn't friendly. The front desk also made me feel uncomfortable wearing mask. If your sick stay home or if your wearing a mask to not get sick your demonstrating how uneducated you are. I will not be staying at this Marriott location again."

"Stayed for a week for Christmas. Noisy room. Room faced road. Hear car noise and airplane noise. Pet noise in the morning. Upstairs neighbors very noisy. Bed is extremely soft that hurts my back. Online check in request no house keeping and housekeeping came in anyway on first day. I had to call front desk to make sure no housekeeping. Looks like my online requests were not reviewed by staff. I requested high level room and put at 2nd floor (no so high). Sink flush slowly. Good side staff is nice. This place needs renovation urgently. I will avoid this place."
