"Unprofessional argumentive and clearly get nothing done judging by how full their lot is...never done business with and wouldn't recommend any of their services... Also wouldn't doubt that half their vehicles on lot for sale are refurbished crash damaged units I'd suggest to stay away from this shady tree shop"
"tl;dr: I was a bit unhappy about how things played out with my service. Dewana feigned concern and asked what was the matter, then, totally unprovoked, proceeded to escalate into 2 minutes of screaming at me the top of her lungs, going on an irate tantrum until another employee came to intervene. I have never seen a public display of rage like this by a business's employee in all my years. just wow. I brought my car in for a scheduled electronics installation, and I get a call before close saying the system installation is complete, but my battery is too weak. ensuring electrical compatibility is generally the first step with installing any electronics, but never mind that. I bought a new battery elsewhere and brought it in, and they wanted to charge me $50 or $55 to install it. lol. I declined and came back the next day with a 10mm socket wrench. given "liability issues" I couldn't do the work there, so I had to jump my car, drive it to the next lot over, then install the battery. fine. before I sign the papers for all of this, I ask why there's a hazardous waste disposal fee for a couple dollars, making sure there wasn't anything else amiss given what I'd seen. Dewana proceeds to ask me what my "attitude" is and that she observed this "chip on my shoulder yesterday" and if there was anything she could do about it. I obliged and replied "okay, well, I think yall should've checked the battery before installing it, and trying to charge me $50 for a 30-second job to install a battery that I'm providing is crooked." Before I could say another word Dewana starts shrieking how none of this is their fault, how I'm wrong and rude and ignorant for causing them trouble. I tried to get a word in before realizing how utterly helpless the situation was, and I sat there dumbfounded and in awe as the outrageous spectacle continued to unfold. wait, what? I'm paying for everything, I'm handling the battery situation myself, where is this coming from? oh I see, it must be that you think shaming and screaming at customers will wash away any mistakes, or that you can scare people into silence rather than trying to be accountable, or empathetic and ensuring customer satisfaction. shame on you Dewana. do you really think your absurdly immature display of anger would quietly fade into the past without consequence? I let you think so for a good month but here it is, the truth you were dreading, for all to see. if you think it's alright to scream and yell at a customer, in a customer-facing role, I have news for you: you need to go to therapy. didn't I hear from the other person present, who calmly and coolly requested I sign the paperwork amidst your enraged shrieking, that their father runs the business? then, for a friend's father to offer you something as generous and stable as employment, you'd think you'd reciprocate their generosity and respect by not jeopardizing business with your uncontrolled temper. the fact that you're a burden and liability on the business clearly isn't a secret either, you're putting undue stress on your coworkers who clearly know this is an ongoing issue. how else would the other employee be so quick as to stonewall and appease and try to wrap up the situation by getting my signature and getting me out of there asap? one of the mechanics walked by and didn't even blink an eye as you kept going. I even had the wherewithal to console you in the aftermath of your tantrum since you were so clearly emotionally dysregulated, and you chose to pretend to write rather than acknowledge what had happened. get help. life doesn't have to be as difficult or as miserable as you're making it out to be. for the owner of the business: I am now going out of my way and paying an extra $15 a pop to get recalibrations elsewhere. I'm planning on getting a new car soon, and rest assured I will gladly overpay hundreds more for that removal and reinstallation through another service provider. that's pennies on the dollar for the peace of mind, knowing I don't have to run the risk of being berated and humiliated again."
"The service is above and beyond what you would receive anywhere else, they treat you like family no matter the issue! They were right there when I locked myself out of my car when I was pregnant to keeping my car safe for my family."
