About the Business
r Midwest Dental in Green Bay and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist. My dental hygienist, Diane, was personable and thorough, making sure she understood my dental needs before proceeding with the cleaning. The dentist who examined me was also very thorough and made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff was always helpful and accommodating. The office atmosphere was positive and welcoming, and I felt well taken care of during my visit. Overall, I highly recommend Midwest Dental for anyone looking for a new dentist in the Green Bay area.

"Diane who cleaned my teeth was awesome!! Real personable and made sure she knew what was going on with my teeth before doing anything. The doctor that checked me, I felt did a really though exam. I miss Dr Low, but I'm glad you guys are able to still get providers and staff that do an great job. Front desk is always great also. I can never remember her name (petite lady with really short hair), but she is usually there when I go in for my appointments and is always helpful. I'm hoping to get Diane and the same provider again when I go back for my next cleaning."
"Horrible service. Appointments canceled all the time. Not flexible to reschedule. Had an appointment moved up 2 hours and I could not make it, they would not keep the apt time or reschedule in a responsible time. They up sell so much and say so much is wrong with your teeth and other dentist have not seen the same issues they claim my family has had. This also happened to my mother and my brothers family. Terrible place."
"Every technician or dentist & the office people that I have encountered at this place is always extremely caring & accommodating. I had a bad experience as a young girl with a dentist and I just dreaded going to a new dentist when we moved but not with Midwest office on University Ave.. They are the best!"
"5 starts! Midwest Dental is great - they do their best to get you in quickly if an emergency arises. Their staff is excellent and and so pleasant. I highly recommend going here!"
"Let me start off by saying this is the first time I've ever wrote a review. I'm not the type of person to complain about places or service. If I had a bad experience I just move on and never visit that place again. I made an appointment to get a routine cleaning and at this appointment they asked me if I'd be interested in whitening my teeth. They explained the options and I let them know that I'm interested in doing the in-office procedure instead of the trays to take home and I scheduled that appointment before leaving that day which ended up being rescheduled due to conflicts with my work schedule. I ended up requesting the day off at work to make sure I'd be able to attend this appointment. I get there and first of all I don't know the names of the people that assisted me that day because they didn't even introduce themselves. They had me take a sit and they went through the options for teeth whitening once more, I let them know that I'd prefer the in-office option. The dentist comes in and lets me know that she would prefer if I went home and use the MI toothpaste for two weeks prior to the whitening because she is concerned that the whitening is going to make my teeth too sensitive. I let her know that I took the day off to be able to be there and that I was also there at the office a month prior and also called to reschedule the appointment and no one, at any point instructed me that I needed to use this toothpaste to prepare for the procedure. To which she just sighed and said "okay." She was also the person that did the check-up of my teeth the day of the cleaning. They start preparing materials which took them about 20-30 minutes to do, again I requested this procedure about a month ago, they knew what option I wanted to go with, and they still did not have their supplies ready. They finally had me lie back and they start with the procedure while talking to each other, not really to me unless to instruct me to move my head from left to right, and at one point the dentist tells her assistant that she has started a 20 minute timer, in my head I'm thinking "okay, they're about to be done, I just need to hang tight a bit longer." At that point I'm already feeling discomfort, pain, and burning, but it was manageable however, they started to notice that I was feeling uncomfortable and asked me if something was bothering me and I tell them that I believe it's the mouthpiece that is hurting and asked them if we still had a long time to go. Neither of them answered my question, the dentist even giggled, and I asked again with no response. They proceeded to take out the mouthpiece, my lips got in contact with the chemicals they use for the whitening. Leaving burns and swelling. The dentist notices that my lips are swelling and proceeds to put some cotton under my lip (which she should have done before removing the mouthpiece.) My lips are burning at this point and she's struggling to position the cotton under my upper lip, so I try to lift my upper lip to try to reduce the pain and burning I'm feeling but now I got this chemical on my fingers, and they start to itch and burn as well. They ended up rinsing my mouth and just putting Vaseline everywhere. The procedure was interrupted and not fully completed. At this point I'm upset because this could have all been easily prevented if they would've just taken the time to explain to me how the procedure was like, so I would've been better prepared and knew what to expect. Just like all medical professionals are required to do before touching their patients. Especially after confirming that I was not properly prepared for it. After that they left me lying there for another 10-15 mins. The dentist comes back and asks me how I'm doing, I asked her how to remove these white stains I have on my fingers from whatever it was that I touched. She started to scold me about touching my face, to which I replied saying "that should be a disclaimer prior to starting" to which she said " but no one is touching their faces while we're working." They still charged me full price."
