"Spent the weekend in Ojai and this was a great place to stay. There are some places to eat within walking distance of you don't mind the hill. My wife and I walked down to the nature preserve and to some of the shops a little beyond that. Great views of the valley and it was nice and quiet when we were there. The rooms were nice for a 2 star place, no TV which was not a big deal for me and my wife. The breakfast was nice too, which was included. The staff interaction we had although limited was very positive."

"Finally getting around to a review. We came here for a weekend getaway in December. We were excited for a quaint retreat and had decent expectations given the reviews. We were disappointed from the start. We were told at check-in that we booked a room with a SHARED bathroom. Apparently booking a room with a shared bathroom was “our fault” since it is written in small print at time of purchase. We were then met with towels like sandpaper, rusted shower head, old bed with a stained mattress, and disgusting carpets. We were told to take our shoes off which is absurd given the aforementioned state. As for breakfast, the bread was stable, scone was weeks old. We expected something decent but the experience was horrible."

"This was a wonderful, quiet getaway. The grounds were beautiful and remote, and the staff were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the layout of cottages of 2 or more rooms, and the rooms felt very private due to the layout. The views were gorgeous, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast patio and pink moment patios were lovely!"
