"I was there for 3 nights. It had a feel and look of a shelter/halfway house I guess because I never been to either place. The windows are old and hard to close because I had a front room with a lot of traffic noise. NO A/C. The bathroom had dirty looking mold around the shower. The refrigerator did not work. It was plugged into a surge protector. The room looked old and very outdated. The furniture did not match and the decor was NONE. The TV was small 13in I believe no bigger than a 20in. The room does not come with a microwave or refrigerator unless u request it 2 weeks in advance. They don't have enough to go in every room. The elevator is old and creaky. The only good thing about the hotel is its location and the staff which is very very friendly. I will never stay there again."
"Emotional maturity of night receptionist is worrisome! Do Not Stay if only females residing!!! Started out with him telling me there were issues with my card? Payment on my bank app showed it going through. I called my bank and they confirmed payment went through. It took a half hour for him to give me a room. He spent that time on the phone with someone walking him through what to do. One of my guest mentioned the issues with YOUR system with my card were weird, (his vibe made us feel like we were being scammed cause he wanted to keep running the card I proved already went through) he took this personally and started yelling “you need to leave immediately”! “leave this hotel”! “do not call me weird”! We had to talk him from the ledge of his power trip of leaving us with no where to go. He is an absolute insecure man that made me and my guest feel uncomfortable…. even after I confirmed with my bank I was being harassed and belittled and treated like a thief. Only for him to tell me hours later that my payment did go through without an apology! He definitely ruined my stay and gave me the creeps. Also, tv was broken in my room, no outlet worked except in bathroom and shower had hair in it. Star for location"
"I only needed to stay for one night, but from what I experienced it was a wonderful stay. Great location if you expect to have some free time because it's right next to chinatown and the front desk people were always very welcoming. If you don't mind an older aesthetic, then this place was a great spot to stay at."
"Stayed here for a girls trip. Rooms are basic but have all you need for sleeping, showering and resting up in between activities. The hotel is clean. There is friendly people at the concierge desk all hours. There are tonnes of amazing places to go nearby for food, beverage, and shopping. Everything else was a reasonable Uber drive away. For our trip the room served as a great home base. The hotel is in an older building so the elevator creaks, not much else to complain about. For what we paid, we were happy with what we got."
"I'll start with the staff was very friendly. It's in run down shape. Carpet and paint look several decades old. No chair to sit in while in the room. No AC, so it got quite stuffy in there. No cable so there's no much to watch when you come back from your day. And the kicker to me is the beds were god awfully uncomfortable and hard as a rock. Like to the point where I considered sleeping on the carpet floor, but that was so filthy that I decided against it. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep there."
