"We had a wonderful stay at Limantour Lodge. The former hostel is rustic, but very well appointed with everything you could need during a stay. The kitchen is particularly well stocked with pots, pans & dishes. I love the communality of cooking with other people, even though we had a private room. "We had a wonderful time staying at Limantour Lodge. The location is excellent. This is the main reason we booked, location location!! It was in March so not summertime, it was quiet and peaceful. The double bed was very comfortable but I did not try out the bunk beds. The room was well heated and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that you need and there was room for the 2 other rooms to share and cook meals. There was coffee and tea available and all needed to make your morning beverage. All was very clean. The shower could use a bit stronger spray but warm water was there! Point Reyes is a special wonderful place Mary Smith"

"We stayed in a private room with our two boys on a rainy evening. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were games and books for all of us to enjoy. The view from the room was wonderful and the short drive to the nearest beach was breathtaking! I would gladly stay here again. Best option around!"

"I booked a stay at the lodge on a whim and I was overwhelmingly pleased! I checked in with the welcoming Ra and got settled before a trail run from the lodge down Coast Trail to catch a gorgeous sunset at Limantour beach. The bathrooms/showers were clean and very close to my room, so it almost felt private. The coffee/tea station in the entrance way was perfect for starting/ending the day with a warm beverage without having to walk through the cold to the main kitchen in the lodge. I brought my own meals and snacks and stored in the main lodge's kitchen, which is generously stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook up a big meal. Complimentary tea, coffee, and a fridge shelf with random 'up for grabs' items made this a quite a treasure. In the morning, I made some coffee right outside my room and enjoyed it out on the picnic tables as I watched the sun rise. It was so still and quiet. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe staying here. I would 100% recommend this as a solo or couple getaway, especially midweek when the trails are less trafficked."

"What a lovely, lovely place to stay. You can’t get a better location! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the Point Reyes area. We were there to enjoy the nature of the area and appreciated how much wildlife we saw and how visible the stars were at night. The lodge is set up in a friendly hostel-type way with a large communal kitchen (fridges, cooking ware, modern coffee machine, etc.) and shared seating area in the main building where you check in. Lots of outdoor seating options too. The staff on-site is friendly and helpful, and they have maps and rental gear on hand (binoculars, beach gear) if you need it. We stayed in a super cozy and cute private queen room with shared toilet and shower, and everything was very clean. There weren’t many people staying there (was in winter) so we never ran into any issues with the toilet or shower being occupied."
