"We spent 8 nights in this motel. The layout of the room and the equipment were just great, very practical, and the place was clean and kept clean. It was very convenient for us to go to all the wineries we wanted to visit from the Chablis Inn (close to the wine route). The lady at the reception (sorry, we forgot her name) was super nice and helpful! We really recommend staying here, even for a full week!"

"Excellent price, for Napa. Surprised to get in under $150. Great room, clean, but thin walls as I heard all the neighbors leaving in the morning. Didn't use the pool/tub. The next business trip to st. Helena, I'll be staying at the Chablis because of the location and price."

"Not Hot Tub. It was barely tepid, very dirty, and the jets barely worked. The rooms are cute as heck. No breakfast. Room keys cut off early. Mattress was pretty awesome. Solid 3"

"Basically, this is a nice place, with nicely renovated rooms. The rooms appeared very up-to-date and fancy in many areas. With a few exceptions: outdated appliances and a microwave that didn't work, but this will surely be fixed. In addition, there were large gaps between the outer door and the floor, something if not quite ideal. Another aspect that Chablis Inn needs to work on a little further is the cleaning itself. The rooms may seem clean and nice, but the floors are very dirty. A little extra effort with the floor cleaning and this will surely be fine. The staff, at least those we encountered, appeared to be pleasant and accommodating. The only thing I reacted to was that for some reason I had to pay 10 dollars extra, i.e., 10 dollars in addition to the sum I was shown via my relevant booking page. I asked what this amount was for but feel that I did not get a particularly good explanation as to why I had to pay an extra 10 dollars. But anyway, 10 dollars is just 10 dollars and no big deal. All in all, my impression is that the Chablis Inn seemed like a well-run place."

"For a 2-star, this hotel was great. Great lighting, ironing board, hair dryer, very clean, well maintained grounds, 5 out of 10 on the mattress. The AC and the mini-fridge in the room are very loud - I felt like I was living in a Stanley Kubrick film. I had to use ear plugs to drown out the high--pitched squealing from the fridge motor and the ominous pulsing from the AC unit. Sound from other rooms was as expected for an older hotel. Would have been nice to include a wine/bottle opener in each room, considering the area."
