"Fanny’s is in a beautiful Edwardian house within walking distance to downtown Calistoga. The innkeeper provides a welcoming yet private stay in well appointed, uniquely decorated rooms. Breakfast is always abundantly delicious and the common areas are cozy and comfortable. Fanny’s is a perfect base for relaxation in the Calistoga/North Napa Valley area."

"The rooms don’t lock, we didn’t have hot water for a shower, and we were unable to reach by phone or find anyone to discuss our concerns with. Oh, there was also a blood stain on the pillow case at check in. Additionally two barking dogs on property and an unpleasant owner are my experience...I’d advise noting how recent all the reviews are (reviews stop in early 2018 for some reason). Maybe acceptable as an absolute last resort, otherwise you’re probably better off staying away."

"We had a wonderful stay at Fanny's this month. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were incredible! Deanna also had some very helpful suggestions for places to see, and the best routes to get there. Our daughter also stayed with us, and Deanna made special accommodations so she could stay in the same room. We would definitely recommend Fanny's for anyone staying in the area."

"Note: My husband and I stayed 3 nights a couple of years ago, but I never submitted a review. We were so impressed with Fanny’s that, all these years later, I thought better late than never. Fanny’s has cute comfortable guest rooms and living room, nicely decorated with a casual atmosphere that was so inviting. We enjoyed the large front porch as it is a quiet place to rest between wine tasting and dinner. Fanny’s location is on a quiet street but walkable to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, each breakfast had a different entree along with alternatives, like yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, etc. The owner, Deanne customized the entree to accommodate my husband’s food allergy. Free WiFi provided, big plus for us. We will stay again next time we visit Napa Valley."

"July, 2014 My family rented two rooms for two nights. I was very unhappy with the place. The air conditioner in my room did not work. The room was very warm. The whole house had a very musty odor. We mentioned the problem and was told to open the window. We canceled our two night stay, leaving a couple of hours after we arrived. We were not reimbursed for even part of our $800 payment."
