"Worst shop ever brother-in-law has his truck there for the last 3 months they call him tell him it's 3,200 bucks it's fixed didn't even make it what 10-15 miles from their shop and it died don't even run they had to haul it back on a wrecker"
"1st appt --> Extensive performance work done on my F250 Powerstroke. Picked my Truck up and she ran like a bandit. Due to all the work that was done, a weak point in the Motor showed up. No big deal. Took it easy until I got it in for some more work to remedy this nasty gremlin. 2cnd appt --> More Extensive motor work to fix the gremlin. Cam and Crank timing and positioning dowel pin strengthening work needed to be done. Picked my Truck up, and she's fixed. Gave her a healthy test drive home, and I'm happy with the work Sheldon + Tyler did to my Truck. I HIGHLY recommend Renegade Diesel + Driveline for your Diesel Trucks. Look, just accept the fact the Owner might call you back late, this shop is busy for a reason. Good Diesel wrenches are hard to find, and this guy is busy. Me personally, he's earned ALL of my Business."
"Poor service. Poor work. Dropped a Ford E350 van off April 1st for a worn tail shaft housing which no longer held the seal without leaking. It took about 6 weeks to find out a new tail shaft housing couldn’t be found. Settled on welding and machining the original and asked to have a new driveshaft made as well. Was told the van was ready around July 1st (3 months). It should be mentioned that communication during those 3 months was not great. Oh, we’ll call you… Showed up to pick up the van only to find batteries dead, battery hold-down screw on windshield wiper, transmission fluid dripping from crossmember, old driveshaft still on the van and speedometer not working. Next problem to sort out. Speedo worked when dropped and no one thought to mention that it no longer did when van was ready to be picked up. Left the van to have the speedo issue sorted. 2 more months of poor communication. In all 5 months went by for what was pretty straight forward work that got done at a snail’s pace, with poor customer service and no attention to detail. Finally picked up the van and settled on a cash payment to put this headache behind. BUT, story doesn’t end here. Drove the van 70 miles from the shop to where it’s been parked since. Van has a puddle of transmission fluid under it from a leaking tail shaft seal! Upon closer inspection the outer seal is the original, filled with a bunch of sealant and a torn sleeve! Sent pics and asked how this would be resolved multiple times. No response. Regrets- trusting and having the patience to let Renegade Diesel and Driveline work on my van. I’d be happy to have a competent shop repair this and have Renegade cover the bill. Sheldon?"
"My duramax left their shop with more issues than it went in for, they used too big of an exhaust clamp on a pipe, I found two “spare bolts” by the windshield wipers that were from my charge pipe bracket that also wasn’t on when I got it back. Had a big hole in the radiator that wasn’t in it when I brought it there, they changed the oil and there’s jb weld or some sort of sealer around the drain plug. Do not recommend."
"Edit: got a return call today spoke to Sheldon and got the situation sorted. Everyone is very busy in this current time which I knew; my thoughts remain that Sheldon and renegade are excellent. Sheldon and the company are great; in that being said however I have been waiting and calling on my turbo that’s been dropped off waiting to be warrantied out. I have called in excess of 15 times over roughly 6 month period; I only get an I’ll check and call you back with no actual call back. Downtime in a truck with no turbo 6 months; how much is that in lost revenue? I was told by Sheldon if you don’t hear from me in 2 weeks give a call so I waited 3 weeks before my first call and I get with covid things are backed up, but please some sort of communication and response back. The time has finally come that I have gone from mildly disappointed to fully irritated."
