"Trail itself is amazing! Unfortunately it is at times unpleasant with all of the vagrants and the trash they leave. Shame the Eureka city workers have to pick up their trash, but they make the experience on the trail so much better. For the most part the vagrants keep to themselves but occasionally it feels unsafe. If you are the nervous type, maybe carry pepper spray. Thank you Eureka city employees for cleaning up and being a presence out there!"
"I really enjoy this trail. The pavement is great for all wheel activities (skate, blade, bike). There are offshoot trails for pedestrians. Bayfront views with shrubbery sections. Dog park. The trail is ever expanding too!"

"I love this trail. Lately I find myself heading south sling the railroad tracks. I love the private felling beach of the south bay. This is a trail of great sights and adventure."
"Aside from the fact that there is a 'water' treatment plant (come on guys it's sewage) hidden away though still adjacent to part of the trail, it's a nice place to walk, bike, skate, scooter, whatever. Some parts are downright beautiful!"
