"My favorite liquor store of all time. They have a very thoughtful selection of various wines and distilled spirits. My household has been very happily part of their Armagnac, Scotch, and champagne clubs, receiving wonderful surprises every few months. Way back in 1999, when I didn't have much disposable cash, I went into the store to splurge and buy a nice bottle of Scotch. My budget was $80. The shop keep suggested I stretch my budget by a bit, and get a $90 bottle from a distillery known as Port Ellen. I was told the spirit was truly delicious. The distillery was shut down, and so bottles were only going to become rarer and rarer. That weekend, I opened the bottle and it was amazing. I returned to the shop, hoping to get another bottle, but they were sold out. Port Ellen whiskies, when you could find them, would soon go for over $1K, but I still remember that awesome $90 bottle back in 1999."
