"absolutely love this store! super unique things sold here"
"Lots of fun clothes and accessories, both vintage and new. Super cute handmade items. Great place to check for things you never knew you needed."
"Zoomer y2k type thrift fashion and accessories store. Lots of cute things and little trinkets like plushies, stickers, keychains, and jewelry. Plushies included Sanrio, Koupen-chan, Rilakkuma, and Studio Ghibli characters. I liked browsing through the stickers and jewelry and it was a lot like going through an artists alley at an anime convention. More selection and styles would be cool though and while nothing caught my eye, it was fun to browse. Most interesting thing was a fridge with plushies trapped inside…hope they’re ok in there"
"This is such a cute and trendy place! I was drawn in by the very pink exterior and visible Hello Kitties inside, along with other Sanrio characters like My Melody and Kuromi. What can I say, I'm simple like that. The My Melody and HK things that I personally looked at didn't seem to be authentic Sanrio, unfortunately. It seemed to be a lot of the type of products you'd see on Aliexpress. But still, it's very enjoyable to see a selection of kawaii goodies in a clothing store. The concept of So So Market is special. It's basically like Depop come to life. It allows you to support young local vendors when shopping for secondhand clothing. Basically, the business model features local thrifters who flip clothing, and the selection rotates every so often with new vendors or new collections. Everything is very up to trends and curated based on popular fashion amongst youth. The only reason I rate low is because there are some fast fashion pieces, and very low quality cheap things being upsold far too much along with the stock of genuienly good products. I'm worried that the depop inspired model also encourages aliexpress reselling to happen in person. And there are SHEIN pieces marked up excessively, too (extremely low quality and low priced brand). Nevertheless, for someone older, it's probably a safe bet to visit this store if you need to buy a gift for a teen who's into the latest fashion trends and you want to buy something local rather than online. Staff is friendly and helpful with questions once approached, but they don't go out of their way to provide excellent customer service from the get go."
"This place was absolutely adorable! I just saw pink and then I saw Anime from the sidewalk so I knew I had to go in! I wanted to buy everything but I am not from the area and knew I could only get small items. The accessories and little home decor items they had were all so unique and special. I grabbed some palm leaf earrings, some Totoro earrings, and a candle shaped like an orange! Everything in there was a must-have, wish I was closer so I could buy everything in there!"
