"I've been going to this Sam's for a while and never really had a complaint besides discontinued items. Staff is friendly and store is always clean, but today a staff member went above and beyond and totally made my day. I ordered an item online for pickup (I'm not going to disclose which item because I don't want these workers hounded all day). Sam's scheduled my pickup, then cancelled it an hour before. I called customer service to ask why. They told me the item wasn't available in store. Ok, that's weird because it was still showing available for pickup online. I still had another item to pickup so I headed to Sam's to see if the item maybe was on the shelf. It wasn't. My husband told me to ask a manager, which I didn't want to do because obviously they don't have any if they're not on the shelf. But I asked anyway, not if they had any in the back (like my husband wanted me to) but when would the next shipment be in and to inform them that app is telling customers the item is available for pickup at this store. He politely looked up the item and asked me to wait while he went to check. 15 minutes later he came out with the item in hand! He truly saved the day and I was happy that he took the time to look for the item. That is true customer service."
