"After eating in the Mader Restaurant, we drank until closing. Had great conversation with the employees, and fun with them. Tried to get an associate a raise, which she deserved for babysitting a boy who had a lot of information to share for a very long time. Gonna stop in next time we head north. New favorite place."
"Great looking space with a stellar beer and gin selection. Food is pretty decent with a small but strong bar menu. Very fair prices given the quality.Too often the case in MKE, the service was inattentive, bland, and unfriendly. It's a bar, after all. Gemütlichkeit is permitted. Very late check in on my food quality. No offer to a second stein. Two other groups had to ask for their food. Not the way to get me into the main (and more profitable) main dining room."
