"Initially I came here because I was told they had good cheese curds. I didn’t look at much of the menu before visiting so I was expecting standard bar food. After sitting down, reading their menu and hearing their Fat Tuesday specials I realized Camino might be a little different. Their cheese curds are good. I couldn’t tell what the sauce was but it was a little sweet and cut some of the saltiness from the cheese curds. Eating the curds on their own were just a tad salty, but not unpleasant. Overall I thought they were great although I’m not a native to Wisconsin so don’t crucify me. Both sandwiches that we ordered were also really good and also came out super quick . The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was crispy, fried to perfection and tossed in the traditional sauce you’d normally use. It was a good balance of between the cayenne, spices, and sugar. The pickles were good too! They taste like they make them in house. More often than not I’ve had po’boys that feel disappointing or aren’t done well but everything from the fry of the shrimp to the remoulade was great. It was on a soft roll, but my one small gripe was that the sandwich fell apart within the first few bites. I think leaving the hinge more intact would have prevented that from happening. The gumbo and Brussels sprouts sides were both good too. The gumbo was real hot so it took a while for it to cool down before we could enjoy it but (again) a small gripe and nothing that took away from the experience. I like the atmosphere, and it had a good amount of people there on a Tuesday in the middle of the day. They had some New Orleans jazz playing for Fat Tuesday which added to the dining experience! Definitely worth visiting. Sorry, Camino for not having more faith in you, but I can’t wait to be back! You guys do a great job and the prices are affordable."

"Parking is somewhat difficult, but I did a lap and found one right in front of the restaurant. Lucky me. Music is loud hip hop, tables are full on an early Tuesday night, servers are friendly, and food is hopping!! wings: Per the server's suggestion, I had the dry rub with Alabama White on the side. They charge extra for the side of sauce, but I would definitely get the wings either just with the sauce, or with on the side. The dry rub was ok, but feels dry. The wings are pre-baked and then fried before coming out (per the server), but kinda felt like it was fried and then baked? catfish o'boy: the highlight of our dinner. It was hands down, one of the top 3 fried catfish I've had in Milwaukee. And the best I've had since covid. I'd go back on Friday for their fish fry. So crunchy on the outside and OH-SO moist on the inside. Perfection. brussel sprouts: they are fried and seasoned, and not drenched in wet sauce, so it's more savory than sweet. Love. Fries: well seasoned, crispy and soft at the same time, just the way I like it. Their daily deals are definitely worth looking at before going. Deep discount on Monday and Wednesday for burger and wings. Po'boys on Tuesday weren't discounted, and I don't think they'll be on Friday either, but they'll still be worth every penny!"

"If you're looking for a place with great fried curds, you've found it at Camino! They're super fresh and not too battered. The perfect snack to have with a beer (though the rest of the menu looked tasty if you're hungrier!)."

"Friendly service and great greasy pub food. The Nashville hot wings were a bit strange in terms of flavor. It was spicy but kind of tasted like tamarind ? They were nicely fired, no thick batter. cheese curds were nice, fairly crispy, do note the bottom of the container had a lot of oil leftover. These are the white cheese curds ( not the yellow kind). Brussel sprouts were crunchy but could use a little more flavor. There are two gender neutral restrooms. The floors of the overall place could be cleaner. No parking lot and street parking was easy .No time limit in the area and was free on a Sunday."
