"Wonderful place to rent bikes with knowledgeable help! Located right on the Elroy/Sparta trail! Looks like a very well-appointed retail bike/repair shop as well! Our rental bikes were excellent! Please drive slowly as there are cute kiddos afoot!"

"Awesome "Ma and Pa" company. Rented a Diverge gravel bike and it was so mechanical sound and smooth that it was down right impressive. Smooth shifting, no noise, great brakes. Used their shuttle service to go to Elroy to ride the Rail to Trail back to Sparta. Had the best time, several small towns on the route to get more water and food if needed. Stopped 1/2 way in Wilton, at the Hitchin' Post for a burger (so darn good and they are cyclist friendly). The shuttle driver gave me lots of tips on the way to Elroy, and one was to get a burger there. SPEED'S had a machine shop too, seem to be excellent mechanics. Super nice people too! Love the nostalgic look of the shop. They even have me a little kit with tools, pump and tube too. Didn't need it, but was nice to have and made an excellent truck for my extras. It attached to the reat rack of the bike. There is so much history there. You can't go wrong with SPEED'S...."

"Very helpful. We were biking-camping in Sparta in October and the water had been shut off at the campsites. Speed's allowed me to refill our water bottles for cooking and drinking. They are very close to the Elroy-Sparta trail and the mechanic shop area in the back room was impressive."
