"Great service and excellent food served in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. We asked for a full body Merlot and the waitstaff made the perfect choice. A basket of bread is served before the meal, with a flat bread that is deep fried in pork fat, very delicious. The menu itself changes regularly and always has delicious and interesting options. Delicious desserts!! We are looking forward to going on a warm summer evening when one wall opens up via a garage door mechanism."

They really give you a great experience, staff is so nice and super knowledgeable about the menu. If you come here you have to try any of their pastas because they are all so good, and save room for their Budino!!"

"Love the vibe and the tasting menu there. My colleague and I were arranged to sit at the bar table. Staff were super friendly and I fell in love with all these local restaurants in Madison. This Italian one was one of my favourites in the town. I will visit them again when I travel to Madison next time. The tasting menu was absolutely amazing! The appetizer - I tasted the ocean favour from black mussels and clams! The main - pan fried sea trout - cooked with perfection. Crispy skin + pinky colour + soft and juicy! Dessert - the butterscotch pudding was sensational! It was creamy, smooth and the best to finish the meal."

"Service is great. Food was very salty. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Fried bread a real winner. Duck too salty to taste. Overall most other dishes were pretty good including the boar with pasta."

"This place is cozy and situated right by the Capital. I could see parking being an issue sometimes. The service was great and i would recommend a reservation and not chancing a walk in. Bar isnt too big nor is the dining room so the chef can focus on the patrons in house. The food delivered on a cold day. It was hot and cooked perfectly. The menu constantly changes but if you get a crack at a short rib, take it. Was deliciously flavored as well. Save some room the butterscotch pudding is way worth skipping a few last bites if your getting full."
