"First time coming here, and I was quite pleased. The service and atmosphere were definitely the highlight. We came in without a reservation, and they accommodated us so we could make it to our concert at the Sylvee on time. I wish I remembered our server's name, cuz he was excellent. The drink selection is the main issue for us. They didn't have regular mixed drinks and no lemonade or cranberry juice. They do have mexican sodas, but they were out of some flavors."

"Dude. This was a last minute decision to try this restaurant out with my girlfriend and we were totally blown away. The mango braised pork taco was the best taco I’ve ever had. I’m still thinking about it. We emptied the dark salsa roja on everything we ate, it was so good. The proportions were perfect, the chips and salsa flight was a dealll. The drinks bomb, the service was so nice, the atmosphere was soo cool and intimate. The music they had on was a vibe and you could tell everything was made with intention and love. I swear down to the rice and beans and side salad it was seasoned so good and everything tasted so fresh. I’m so glad we came here, we will definitely come again and I hope everyone checks them out."

"Taco Local prides itself in fine Mexican cuisine. Great tacos, fun atmosphere, and fast service. The al pastor tacos were extremely flavorful and the serving was very generous. Carnitas were super tender and the trio of dips were delicious. Prices are quite higher than standard taco joints, but the food is authentic and comes out right away, hot and fresh. Will return to try the tequila lime chicken, Korean bbq and a few margaritas."

"Cute little restaurant! Interior looks like a cellar. Nachos, tacos and quesadilla were all a big hit. The mango braised pork was so tender and flavorful. House margarita was strong- yum. We'll definitely be back!"

"A friend & I did the "Family-Style Taco Dinner" with Chicken Nachos, Seared Steak & Mango Braised Pork, and a fruit pastry. Nachos were good, but nothing to rave about. Steak was dry. Carnitas were so moist and delicious. Loved the blue corn tortillas - I have never seen that before. Pastry was average. Biggest ding to this restaurant, our waitress was very unprofessional & kept coming over to our table unprompted to talk about her personal life. It made us uncomfortable, as we were trying to enjoy a meal & conversation together. Overall, I think it was a bit expensive for the quality, but we both went home full & with some leftovers. Not sure I'd visit again."
