"Been here before and the food was great each time. Have brought different groups of people every time I went and they loved the food. The chicken was seasoned well, ribs were good, the yams were good, greens were good although too much pepper sometimes, and the cornbread muffin was perfect. Had my first time trying the late night menu, and I honestly felt let down by the food quality. Chicken was unseasoned, catfish flavor was underwhelming, and the mac and cheese was dry. Greens were still good though. Havent left a review before because most people online agreed with my thoughts. This is an honest criticism and to me how the food tastes is the most important, I am not trying to hate on a small business. Thank you."

"I'm a pretty harsh food reviewer, and am very honest about bad meals. This place was excellent! The chicken honestly reminded me of childhood meals at Grandma's, tasted very home cooked, BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy, crispy and big! I'm a big dude and 6 wings were more than enough food. The collard greens were very juicy and tasted great, mac and cheese tasted home-cooked as well. I wish I found out about this restaurant sooner, they have a damn fine business. I look forward to my next meal here once. They actually ran out of cornbread muffins after I ordered, and the woman at the counter replaced it with a giant slice of chocolate cake. Made my day!"

"Lemon pepper Wings 8/10 Yams 10/10 Mac n cheese. I expected more for this to be a cheese state 8/10 The food was good! Customer service could’ve been better. And It wouldve been nice to get some cutlery and napkins so i could eat my food."

"I ordered the food via DoorDash so I couldn’t tell you about the atmosphere. The food was exactly what it says “soul food”. It was amazing! The only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the mac n cheese but I think that had something to do with sitting in a container during delivery. I ordered the bbq ribs, corn muffin, mac n cheese, and sweet potatoes. The ribs were tender and juicy! I already dug in as you can see in the photo lol!"
