"Coming in at 8pm on Friday was the perfect time. Appetizers are around 6$ each (x3). dinners less than 15$ each (x2). And 4 cans of beer the bill wasn't even 60$. I'm impressed and would gladly come back. The fish fry was excellent, shrimp was excellent. And the coleslaw paired well to the fish! I walked out full and happy."

"A classic Wisconsin "dive" bar. The food is affordable and banging!! The menu is pretty big and I'd say it's classic bar food made with passion! It's always busy, if not packed! The staff is efficient and kind. I'm always impressed by the chef's ability to stay on top of orders and get them out at a fast pace! A north side staple!"

"I've been here many times and enjoy it. Slices is a small dive with bar food and drinks for a fair price. It's not fancy, but regulars are friendly and comfortable here. It's a very Wisconsin place to chat or watch sports with hometown locals!"

"Fried fish fry with red potatoes and sour cream, cole slaw and a roll! It doesn’t get anymore Wisconsin on a Friday night than this! Place was super packed at 4:45pm! Great atmosphere, super up north vibe and GREAT fish! They also had baked cod, walleye and shrimp as other options."

"Wanted to go out for a fish fry this past Friday and didn't want to go far from home so decided to try Slices. It was busy when I arrived with all tables full however there was room at the bar which was good for me. One of the four people working the bar and tables came over right away and got me a pepsi to start and than got me a menu. I decided on the fish fry which had several choices cod,perch and walleye I chose cod there were several choices of potato I chose French fries it also comes with a small cole slaw and roll and butter I also ordered an appitizer of onion rings which was a mistake on my part. Both my onion rings and fish came promptly for as busy as it was and as I said the onion rings were a mistake as it was a large amount for one person but they were so good I had finish them which meant I couldn't finish all of the rest of my order. There were 3 pieces of fish not huge but good sized and perfectly done a very nice amount of fries and nice little plate of Cole slaw which was very tasty with a nice snappy taste and a small roll with butter all of it excellent but just a bit to much for me with that order of onion rings. All four people working were friendly and quick to check if anything else was needed. It was a great meal at a fair price and good atmosphere. I will be back again soon. Didn't take any pics I was to busy enjoying myself and the conversations around me."
