"I just picked up your coffee from Kowalski's in Woodbury, MN yesterday for the first time ONLY because of the name "Highlander"; my husband's favorite show is Highlander with Adrian Paul. :) So, this morning was a DELIGHT to open it, and really, we were impressed with the aroma and unique flavoring. Such bold smells and a great taste. (We tried it in our espresso machine and I will look forward to also trying it in our french press!) "Purchased my first bag of Alakef beans through devotea.com. This organic Mexico decaf is excellent. For my taste the roast is perfect: the beans have been taken just to the edge of cracking and releasing their oils (important to me as oily beans clog my machine), they are dark but still dry, so the aromas and flavors are rich but not too strong. Whoever roasted this batch knew exactly what they were doing and had split-second timing. Highly recommended. I'll write another review after a while to assess consistency over time."
