"Had a great experience here when my wife and I took off work right before Christmas. Was not super busy when we got there at about 8 am that Friday but it slowly picked up while we were there. Food tasted really good. Server was very friendly and gave the perfect level of service by talking us through the menu and waiting on us and checking on us when needed. It looks fairly recently renovated so it has a nice relaxing vibe on the inside. Talking with the waitress everything is made to order and a lot of it is their own recipes. My wife had a skillet and it was chock full of meat, eggs and potatoes with their own house made hollandaise sauce. My burrito was sausage and egg with American cheese, I would probably have picked a different cheese but it was still a very very good breakfast burrito. Places like this are really under represented. It has a small time vibe and very fair prices. If you have a chance please stop in here and try to support your local small business owner. I would rather go here than any Ihop or Deny's every single time."

"As far as breakfast spots go it was fine. Nothing special nothing horrible. Hash browns were good and so were eggs. Enjoyed my sausage links as well. But never got my toast. When my waitress brought out my food she said she would bring out the toast in a minute. Next thing I knew she brought my check with no explanation of what happened to my toast. Wasn’t impressed enough by the experience to go back. There are other breakfast spots in the area that give a better experience and food all around."

"9/23 - another good visit. Great service. Food was served hot. Still my favorite madison cafe sit down cafe for breakfast. 2/28/23 - revisited Elie’s while in town and it was just as good as the first visit. Great little cafe. Service was very good. Food was hot and really good. Clean interior and plenty of parking."

"This experience was everything you want your breakfast to be!! Omelet was great! Loved the larger than usual feta crumbles! Really great flavor! Waffles were delicious! Coffee was very weak ... But that was a small price to pay for such a delicious breakfast!"

"Great food and service. Place was very clean. Eggs benedict was very good and hot from the kitchen. Only thing was the English muffin was not toasted. Could be just the way they do it. Coffee was actually very good for cafe coffee. Service was very good, and did not feel rushed because they were busy."
