"I placed an online order and was sent the wrong thing. After over an hour on the phone with customer service, they said the only way I could return it was driving it to the store myself, even though I made it clear that there was not a location close to my house, and the item was too heavy for me to deal with on my own. Made the return today since that was the only option I was given, and not even an apology. Would understand if I had made the mistake, but it was Lowe’s who sent me the wrong item."

"Never use their installation services. I have been going through a simple deck (100 sq ft) installation saga for almost 9 months. Lowes sales person came out and did the initial quote in summer of 2023. They couldn't get their installer person to come onsite to measure what they needed to put in order for 2 months, then waited for materials, then permit delays by installer for 2 months, then finally started install 1st week of January, then installer told me they were missing parts, then 2 months later and parts haven't even been ordered and the customer service team cant get me any answers. The whole time they force you to pay upfront so they have no incentive to wrap up timely. They have "escalated" this for the past 2 months but that means nothing as I have to proactively call or I get no updates from them. I had a similar bad experience with a shower door install but that was during pandemic so I thought that was the reason. Never again am I going to Lowes after this latest experience. If you need installation services DO NOT go through Lowes"

"We went into Lowe's to select new flooring for our kitchen, we found a product that we liked and worked with Todd to arrange for a measurement and installation quote. So far so good Todd was great. Lowe's install service came to the house and measured, we discussed a number of items about the installation. A few days later we received a quote, after reviewing the quote it was like the person doing the measuring never listened to what I was saying. Took the quote and walked into the store to discuss things. I don't remember who I talked to but after about 3 minutes of talking to him I had zero confidence in Lowe's being able to do an acceptable installation job. The two people in the floor had no intelligent answers to my questions. The only answer I was able to get was " we install to manufacturer specifications". They could not show me where the manufacturer said to do what they were doing. A simple question of "why are you doing that" seemed to stump them. The product may be good but stay away from Lowe's installation."

"I can always count on finding lighting for our home at Lowes. Once again, we found our entryway light fixtures here. The prices may be higher than other home improvement stores, but you get what you pay for. We have been very satisfied with all our ceiling fans and light fixtures previously purchased. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The store is kept very clean."

"I like Lowe's. They have a great selection of building materials. Usually a step up from Menards. The staff is usually knowledgable about their products and services. I was looking for some outdoor patio furniture. Unfortunately, it's a little late in the season, and they did not have much."
