"Their laser techs are wonderful. Friendly, kind, and have amazing customer service. HOWEVER, the sales people are complete LIARS. I was told that after only 1 treatment I would not need to shave for several days. I was also told that they guarantee their treatment and if ever needed (she even mentioned after 10 years) all treatments would be 70% off. I waited until I finished my treatments to review. I have done 10 treatments. I followed all pre and post care instructions. I still have to shave EVERY SINGLE DAY. Do I notice a difference? Yes, in some places my hair is not coarse and it is growing a tiny bit slower. But after paying over $2000 on a treatment and not receiving close to what I was promised I am so very disappointed. By the way, they will give me 55% off my maintenance package so for 3 more treatments, it will be over $500. They are a scam. I did not listen to the reviews I read. Do not waste your money. By the way, I just emailed the support at the email they provided with all of the other negative reviews and that EMAIL ADDRESS DOES NOT EXIST. SCAM. What a profound disappointment. Do not waste your money on their laser hair removal!"
"Maggie sold me a package of 10 sessions and told me I would be refunded anything I did not use. Tattoo was removed in five sessions. Vanessa in the store told me I was due $640 for a refund and then spoke to Maggie and said it could only be refunded in store credit. Then after I spoke to Maggie directly, she explained the refunded sessions could only be done at retail price leaving me with only a $199 refund. I’m baffled at the deliberate effort to not share this “policy” with me at the beginning and instead guide me in the complete opposite understanding. Very disappointed in the lack of integrity and transparency. I’ve contacted customer service in hopes of a better resolution. I’ll keep updating here. I'm incredibly disappointed in the effort to conceal important details on the refund policy for discounted packages. and the lack of communication and integrity to honor what you promised on behalf of the company. I'll be leaving this review in addition to the many others on Laser Away's page."
"I changed providers because my girlfriend decided to pay $4,000+ on laser hair removal there, and it's by the mall so we could go together and then go to dinner. I purchased a block of credits and got one Botox treatment to see how they did and it worked well. I went back 6 weeks later to get the outer areas of my forehead done and absolutely nothing happened. I had forgotten about it, and when 6 weeks later my girlfriend asked me about the treatment and stated that my lines were still prevalent, I returned to inquire as to why the treatment did not work. The person that treated me looked at the photo they took the day of treatment and stated that it looked like my lines had actually gotten worse. She was very nice and stated that they could do nothing at that level so the managing nurse ( I assume she was the highest level of management because I had to wait until she was free) said that she would escalate it to corporate to see what they could do for me. I've had treatments for 5 years at 2 other providers within the same, but different than Laser Away, doctor's office (I would never have switched if it hadn't been for my GF going there for laser and she said it was discounted if I purchased several units in advance) and NEVER had a treatment not work AT ALL. That day, "Brian" from corporate called and, without getting into all of the 5 minute back and forth (and I kept my cool even after being told it was not their fault so there was nothing he would do for me except sell me additional units at full price), I exclaimed that if he had no interest in doing anything at all to make it right, even if it was just discount additional units, we were wasting each other's time so there was no sense continuing the conversation. I can afford more units. It's not about the money. I was just so disappointed in the ways Brian handled it by continuing to come back to the solution of me giving them more money instead of showing interest in making it right when the only logical explanation is that the person doing the treatment missed the muscle, so it just didn't work. It appears that Laser Away is just one more big box company that cares more about its bottom line than satisfied customers. Or at least Brian is. Needless to say, I will find a more professional and customer service-oriented provider. Or maybe I'll just stop fighting the aging process and get old as gracefully as I can. Naw, I'm definitely finding another provider! :-)"
"Considering tattoo removal can be a scary thing. Will it hurt? How will it leave my skin? Will it even work? Well, for me it was anyone. Unfortunately, I am one of those that has a bad tattoo that I regret. After lots of research and searching high and low, I came across Laser Away and one other place. I contacted both and Laser Away got back to me right away and we set up a consultation. Did I mention it is local and not a far drive?! As soon as you walk in you notice the beautiful decorations and most importantly, how clean it is. They do so much more than tattoo removal, as well! My consultation went so smooth and every single employee was extremely sweet, gave me all the information I needed and very helpful. It's safe to say I purchased a package! I was SO nervous for my first appointment. For th life of me I can't remember the gals name that did my session (Brittany I believe?) but she eased my nerves so well. She explained step by step what will happen, the machine they use and that I'd be able to numb the area if I choose to. We went over my medical history and I spoke with another employee via FaceTime to verify everything. My area is a small finger tattoo so it was a quick session and didn't hurt much. I didn't even blister! We went over the care, the recommended time I should wait in between sessions (8-10 weeks) and which colors I should expect to be easier to remove, and which will take longer. I finished my third session recently and see a massive difference. It's still there but the fading it remarkable. I look forward to finishing this up and will also be looking into the other stuff they offer!"
