"After seeing my doctor for over 10 years, it was time for a new prospective, seeing my face through another set of eyes. I was nervous, I obviously trusted my last doctor, but felt like we outgrew each other, he unfortunately had no new ideas for the future of my skin. I take my skincare seriously, I’m in the business of beauty, so choosing someone new has not been an easy task. Fast forward and allot of research, I am so glad I chose Dr Guanche, not to mention her staff that guided me through the process. Experience is huge to me, starting with my initial call and booking my appointment, both were efficient and extremely informative. The location was great, I found the parking to be plentiful and her office was easy to find. Check-in was easy, the waiting area bright, clean, soothing and filled with information for lots of different treatments (I took a pamphlet for a future treatment). I was greeted by the first assistant that guided me to treatment room, she took photos and asked me in depth questions of what my needs/concerns were. Next, Dr. Guanche arrived, it took a bit of a wait, but well worth it. I have learned by being in the service business myself, patience is important, if it takes a bit to see you… it’s because they are doing their best to give personalized experiences and yes, that takes time. Dr. Guanche is stunning, even behind her mask you can tell she has beauty inside and out, but most importantly it’s her skills that ultimately made my decision to come and see her. Her presence is not in any way intimidating, she speaks to you in a very kind manner that made my nerves go away very quickly. She discussed my needs and made suggestions of what she felt would be the right procedures for me now and for the future. Then comes Jenny (we all need an assistant named Jenny). She keeps it all together in the treatment room, she also has the dreaded task of talking about how much everything I want is going to cost, yikes. I ultimately made the decision to do Restylane under my eyes (tear troughs), I was feeling the need to look refreshed. The procedure was painless and didn’t take long at all. She placed eye pads on my eyes to alleviate bruising and to sooth them, but deep in my heart I knew that extra concealer was in my very near future no matter what. Before leaving I was given a very sweet skincare gift to take care of my eyes and face, a nice added touch to my already great experience. The next day I received an unexpected call from Monique, wondering how I was doing and if I had any further questions about my procedure. In my group of beauty friends, I am always the one to try new things and give my reviews before they try. I am holding my final review to them until my swelling and bruises go away, I’m so excited for my ultimate results which I know will be great and can’t wait to share it with all my friends.
