"I felt like my appointment was rushed and I was not heard. I described symptoms of long covid dysautonomia and the doctor's first recommendation was to double my daily dose of Prozac. I explained that my depression had increased because I have been extremely sick for over a month and I did not need or want to double my Prozac. He insisted, and even though I said no again, he continued to order it. I was mostly concerned for my heart because I have POTS and my heart rate is abnormally high for me since I has covid in early February. He told me my heart sounded fine and proceeded to prescribe an inhaler for my lungs, which also sounded fine according to him. I was not specifically concerned with my breathing. He wrote a recommendation for my work that I work from home for a month, but stated the reason was that I'm weak at at risk for falling, which I never said to him. My labs came back fine, so of course there was no follow up from the doctor about next steps."

She was able to diagnose my condition without hesitation & I might add that I had seen another Gyn (about prob) a couple of weeks ago that was NOT able to do so. I had not seen her for 7 years, yet, she remembered me, was very warm, welcoming & reassuring. Know that I had recently lost my Daughter, she spoke with me about Bereavement counseling available me if needed. This, at my age, and w most of my doctors retiring, I find comforting"
