"I brought in my truck bench seat for re-upholstery. An employee gave me a written estimate for $600; she said it was for $500 labor and probably about $60 for materials. When I went to pick it up, the total was $800. The explanation for the difference was "all new foam" on the bottom portion of the seat. I had given them a large piece of foam which they said they used in the back of the seat. The workmanship looks pretty good, but I was shocked that the price suddenly bounced up $200 just for foam. I think they should've called me with an updated estimate before doing the job. If you use this company, be sure to nail them down to an out-the-door price. In the future, I will use Andy at Silverado Trail Upholstery."
