When it came time for our girls to start transitional kindergarten, we were thrilled to see Sunshine House offered a before and after school program right there on campus. "As an educator working with children of all ages, Sunshine House kid zone has a friendly, warm and loving environment for children and families to feel safe about attending the center. The teachers at Sunshine house are very educated and work well together as a great team to provide for the children of Loma Vista. During the school year, Sunshine House teachers sit down with all children to do their homework and further teach them in that subject they have questions about. Every day at this center, there is a group time where children come together and do an activity that the teacher has planned. These activities usually consist of science experiments, arts and crafts (fine motor) and cooking (math.) While the children are on school breaks Sunshine house plans many field trips locally and in walking distance to learn outside of the classroom. I believe Sunshine house is a very fun and engaging place for children of all ages. The children who attend never seem to get bored because there is so much to do at all times.
