Lotus Montessori & Daycare

"Our daughter went to lotus Montessori for 2 years starting at age 2 and she loved it there. She had a very high separation anxiety when she started and was very very scared to meet new people and to be at a new place . Ms Shubangi was very patient with her until she settled down and made sure she felt safe and secure. Ms. Shubangi provides a safe learning environment with personalized attention to each kid which has helped her grow and flourish wonderfully . She gives them the warmth of a home along with providing Montessori based education. Our lo had learned about continents , seasons, months, days etc etc at 2 years . She started writing and reading from there . Ms Shubangi provides home cooked nutritious meals everyday and ensures each kid eats which was a big plus for us since our lo was a slow and picky eater. Her place is kept clean and tidy all the time with age appropriate toys and she follows a strict routine everyday for the kids . They have a lot of celebrations with dance, music and food which my lo used to always look forward to. We love Ms Shubangi and highly recommend Lotus Montessori facility ."

"Lotus Montessori is an excellent choice for home based Montessori. The teacher, Ms Shubhangi is accepting and makes every child feel welcome and comfortable in her school. The kids learn how to interact with each other and make lasting friends. Or 3 year old girl, who is usually extremely shy, had a great time and leant to read small words. While our child attended Lotus Montessori, she felt very welcome and learnt to be independent."

"I am very thankful for the way Ms.Shubhangi has taken care of my little one, since her first day at the daycare. She has a structured routine that is followed well, everyday. The daycare is maintained well - neat and tidy all the time. The kids have toys that they can play & learn with. I have seen my daughter pick up & learn things, be the alphabet, numbers or arts at an amazing pace after she started at the daycare. My daughter has learnt to talk better, become smarter, and loves doing arts and crafts now. Ms. Shubhangi engages the kids into music and dance, as well. The kids get to know about various festivals from different cultures because she lets the kids know them through some very nice art works. We get the daily updates via the cards they make, the alphabet tracing they do, the puzzles they play etc. Ms. Shubhangi was very supportive & understanding when my daughter was undergoing potty training and used to have occasional accidents. One can always feel the love Ms.Shubhangi has for kids the way she deals with them. She takes care of the kids as her own, as she prepares and provides healthy homely food & snacks to ensure the kids get the necessary nutrients well for the growth of their minds & bodies. She shares the daily menu with parents that, many times, I myself have felt like I should barge in for a share! My daughter loves Ms. Shubhangi, and so do we! We highly recommend Ms. Shubhangi’s Lotus Daycare & Montessori."

"We started our lo with Mrs.Shubangi when he was around 20m, and he liked her and her place very much. Her place is always kept neat and clean. There are lot of Montessori activities for the kids to explore. I really like how she celebrates all the festivals with the kids and share pictures. She provides healthy breakfast and lunch. She gives us an update at the end of the day on how the day went for my lo. We are very happy with her and I highly recommend her."

"I was very lucky to find Shubhangi’s daycare while I was visiting my family in California for an extended period of time. I placed my 18-month old daughter at the daycare for roughly 2.5 weeks. I was fortunate that she offered drop-in hourly rates at a very reasonable price! I wish I had this daycare where I currently live because leaving was hard. Shubhangi has created such a child friendly, creative, yet refreshingly simple atmosphere in her home. When I visited, I was blown away by the thoughtfulness in the activities. So many of them work on fine motor skills and many are abstract enough to encourage creative play. Of course, she is a certified and experienced Montessori teacher! The best part of all of this was the delicious and nutritious home-made meals she made my daughter. When she would send photos, I would resist asking if I could drop by for lunch. :-) Overall, I loved this experience for my daughter and look forward to using her services whenever we make trips back home."
