"Take your business to Mike's Groceries & Liquors on 21st and Mission. Don’t even bother coming in the evening. The guy working tried to up charge me without me realizing for 2 items from ~$6 to $10. Keep an eye on the total if you shop here at night."
"AVOID! RIPOFF! They tried to charge me $18.99 for a twelve-pack of Bud Light which costs $11.99. They rang up $11.99 on the till then typed in $18.99 on the card machine, thinking I wouldn't notice the EXTRA $7.00! Went a couple of blocks down Van Ness to Grocery Outlet where they sell a twelve-pack of Bud Light for $11.99 (the correct price). Go there instead."
"I love to shop here , the new owners are amazing and very welcoming , the guy I see in the AM is very polite and welcoming , this place is very clean and they have great prices if you compare it to other stores in the area They have good collection of wine and liquor, very convenient for me to go here , amazing variety of snacks and drinks , I always find everything I need in this store :)"
"This place is under new ownership. Watch out for the guy on night shift there. He will rip you off if you're not paying attention. If you ask for a receipt, he tells you the machine is out of tape but if you go during the day it's no problem. There's no way to know what he actually charged you if you're not paying cash. One time I bought a six pack of beer, got distracted and accidently forgot to take it with me. When I returned 10 minutes later, he said I didn't buy it. Of course, I had no receipt. Other old timers in the neighborhood I talked to said that dude is shady. It's one of the few places in the neighborhood that's open until 2:00am, so locals go there from time to time. Take care when he's on duty."
