"I got a flat tire near this store and the owner (Tony) literally helped me put on the spare, asking nothing in return. That's a level of kindness and care that gives me complete confidence in the store and the merchandise they carry."

"The owner of Holiday Market also owns the house next to them on 32nd St where a large group of able to get drunk and party loudly all night on the liquor they buy from the store. The owner is bettering himself to the detriment of the community."

"This store is the grimiest liquor store I've ever been too, I wondered how many health and safety codes it could be breaking. It smells like chain smoked cigarettes inside the store, the floor is gross and there are opened boxes everywhere with the products just sitting inside them so you can't walk through the thin aisles. When I left the bald man at the register looked me up and down and made kissing motions with his mouth making me extremely uncomfortable. I do not recommend."

"Friendly neighborhood market in the heart of the Alta Dena/North Park community where you're greeted by name every time you walk in. It's a tiny little store so don't expect to always find the specific brand/product/flavor, etc. you're looking for, but the owners will special order things for regulars who request it, and stock the store with those products as long as they keep buying. Prices on most items are a bit steep, but for the convenience and small town feel this little market brings to our neighborhood, I don't mind paying a little more if it helps support local business."
