Quality Liquor Store

"Placed an online order to be shipped. Saw they had several bottles that I've been unable to find anywhere. Recommended them to my family members (sister and dad) and brought over $1,600 in business to this establishment. Long story short, someone claiming to be the owner "John" accuses me (and my family) of fraud and refuses to ship the orders we had paid for. "John" called my sister on the day the orders were placed, to "verify" them and still did nothing. After hearing a friend had received his bottle, I inquired about the status of my order and was cursed out about committing fraud. Horrible service. Do not patronize this business. ***UPDATE*** Nearly 6 months later the business responds to this review below, again accusing of scamming and this time adding in a stolen credit card. Just wild. If I could give 0 stars I would. Asking me to submit personal identifying information via email, with no encryption service or any other protective measures is a sure fire way to get scammed. Again, the service here is HORRIBLE."

"The company shorted me one bottle of champagne on my order. Instead of owning their mistake (their own shipping invoice clearly shows they didn’t send me enough bottles), they wanted me to go through the entire order and figure out what they did wrong so they could give me a partial refund, when all I really wanted them to do was send me another bottle. This wasn’t worth the hassle for just a few bucks, so I just let it go. The experience was especially galling since they also charged me for shipping insurance that I didn’t ask for and because I had also included a gratuity on the order. I won’t be doing business with them ever again."

"BUYERS BEWARE!! Website make it appear that items are all in stock and will ship immediately, but they are not and do not. I have emailed with no response for a full week. At this juncture I just want a refund, as requested and they can keep their item."

"This place also operates as Soda Pop Shop. Ordered on 12/14/23, all items were in stock as far as the website goes, I was hoping to get it before Christmas, ended up getting the order on 1/4/24. The box sat on a floor somewhere with a label on it for a few days according to UPS tracking. I would never order from them again but if you are going to order from them order a month ahead at least. Apparently things at this place move slower than in a sleepy town in Alabama."

"I shall NEVER patronize this establishment again. In my opinion, their sales tactics amount to bait and switch because their website still offers products that they no longer carry nor have in stock. Neither of the daytime employees are authorized to issue a refund and only the owner possesses said authority. Those same employees spent an inordinate amount of time locating my online order. The 1 star rating is due to the lack of a ZERO star rating which, in my opinion they fully and richly deserve. I have edited my review based on subsequent extremely troublesome issues with the credit card I used online; it now appears that the other reviewers who warn of scammers are more likely correct than not.
