Reviews
"Super convenient liquor store bodega at the base of the pier in Santa Cruz. They have most everything you could want for drinks as well as sundries. Prices are of course a little bit higher than you would pay at Target or BevMo, but location, location, location!"
"The guys behind the counter are super friendly. They also have a decent selection of alcohol. But, the prices are a bit high. I got a bottle of Belvedere for $39. Normally $29. A plus side there is paid parking right beside them for $30."
"Run of the mill, small town liquor store priced up a few notches to cater to the never ending sea of tourists. Has been in business ever since I can remember, at least 20 years. Standard selection of tall cans, forties, and select liquor. Always seems to close early."
"This store has some of the most horribly unfriendly employees I've encountered at any establishment. Young or old, they all have rude dispositions and treat their customers like trash (the ones they don't know personally). Every single time I've gone to this place, they either don't answer questions that are not yes or no, give you a hard time when grabbing whatever liquor you ask for, or visibly scoff and berate you for your purchase. The worst employee here is the jerk with the short hair dyed orange, as I've NEVER had a pleasant interaction with him. After the way he treated me today, I will not be returning to this establishment ever again. Do yourself a favor, and walk down the boardwalk until you see the Surf Shop on the corner, and go to the liquor store about a block from there. They actually treat you decently and have better prices than this awful spot."
"Depends on who's working...usually it's great or at least normal....today a woman I've never met was extremely rude to me to the point I didn't buy anything and left crying. She insulted my outfit, called me small, and said something about my parents. I'm not a college kid and it's not ok to discriminate."
