"MD Liquor &Food is in some ways a pillar of the community that should be noticed, there's huge issue with the homeless not just Santa rosa as the prices go up and the pay stays the same coupled with the fact that we have one of the highest taxes paid on a payroll check. These guys at MD give the fellow Americans an opportunity to make some cash for food and water, breaking down boxes mopping the floor sweeping the walk way, ect.. you would be surprised how many people are more than willing to work if just given the opportunity. Could you find a job if you were sleeping outside with no car no clean clothes no shower, say what you want but I don't think many people could pull that off, get off work and do what walk around until it's dark and get up first thing in the morning all refreshed from a good night's sleep on the pavement?"

"They have been extremely rude to mother making nasty comments. Most recently i was trying to buy a drink but only had nickels to pay for it. The guy behind the counter refused the money, which is totally in his right, but he calls me a homeless bum and I don’t belong in his store and walked out from the counter and confronted me as if he was going fight me. I did not threaten him all i did was try to pay in coins."

"Wonderful people working here. The gentleman at the cash counter didn't even flinch when those kids blasted a paint gun all over the outside of the buildings windows. It sure took me by surprise though! Glad it wasnt the real thing. Also, great deal on vitamin waters, energy drinks and last but not least... you guessed it: BANANAS!"

"I’ve had a few bad experiences here but it’s up the street from my house so I’ve been continuing my business; however, today was just ridiculous. I recently turned 21 on the second and have already purchased alcohol and tobacco. The older woman behind the counter refused to sell me a tobacco product claiming I had to wait 10 days after I turned 21 in order to make the purchase. I asked for an explanation and nothing, she just continued to repeat “10 days”. I’ve never heard of this and even called the police department just to make sure and they said the same thing, I should have been able to make the purchase just as I did at other locations. She was very disrespectful. I will from now on go further up the road to rotten robbies where they are always kind and cheerful. Not to mention there’s always sketchy people outside this mini mart."
