"To be honest, it is worth the money. The lady who guided us prior to our journey was so sweet. She was a volunteer, such a blessed heart ❤️ Overall it took about 2 hours to enjoy everything, will go visit with my woman again for sure (took her on a date, 2 days later, she's my woman lol. Great date location!!)"

"Great garden focused solely on California native plants. Lovely new area just opened with focus on outdoor play area for kids -hammocks, tree climbing, outdoor library, etc. Lots of children there when we visited on a weekend. Reservations recommended/required. We went early and were glad we did as it got crowded later on in the day. Parking is a bit tight. Did not see food for purchase, but there was water/drinks from a vending machine. I believe you can bring in food though. Wear good shoes - some paths were gravel/sand and there were rock stairs."

"Beautiful property. If you want a great place to take a walk in nature without having to go on an actual hike, this is a great option. Most pathways are easily traversed and there are so many beautiful scenes to take in. Bring a camera to capture some nice pics. Overcast days and “golden hour” are great times for photos."

"A stunning garden encompassing many different plants and beauty everywhere. Easy to spend 1-2 hours here taking everything in and enjoying it all. Peaceful and tucked away in the mountains overlooking the world."

"Parking: free in lot in front. Check spaces for which to park in. When I went in early Sept on the weekend the lot was about 10 spots from full. Unless you're a member you need to book a reservation, they often have same day available. It's located in a remote, hilly part of Santa Barbara. Much of it requires walking up and downstairs, though there is a longer way to see most of everything going down a long ramp. They have a small redwood forest, a creek, an old dam used in the mission days built by the Chumash. Lots of activities for little kids to do. They're making a small Japanese garden. They also sell plants. Area has a northern California feel. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The wise know how to get in at a discount if not free."
