"A wonderful experience with lots to see. I do however recommend the Nautical History Gallery & Museum. Joe Frangiosa who owns and runs the museum is absolutely wonderful. He is welcoming and informative. Joe walked us through everything and showed how the museum came about and how he deligently built models from old pictures. Joe's attention to detail is astounding. Totally recommend visiting the museum. Thank you Joe for sharing your knowledge and hard work with us. It was very much appreciated."

"We went to Liberty Station to enjoy an outdoor ice skating show, and it was awesome! The night was beautiful, the Christmas lights were amazing, people were happy! The military theme of the old base and the barracks really offers a nostalgic and artsy feel. The museums were clean and well-done. What more can you ask for? It is so impressive what has been done with this old base. I'm reminded of the scripture that talks of turning swords plowshares, and I can't help but think of the many blessings of peace when the military establishment can, in part, be dismantled."

"Liberty Public Market located at 2820 Historic Decatur Rd, San Diego, CA 92106 is an awesome San Diego Market!!! Lots and lots of vendors and quite a great variety of selection. You name it, they pretty much have it. Cool vibe too. Outside eating area!"

"Love this place. Great for walking by the water, playground, ship to explore, coffee places, cheap fries at the indoor market, art everywhere! My kids went to school here for awhile too with Soaring Minds. Definitely a must see for California visitors."
