"Called the hotline number to ask regarding passports. Did not receive a warm tone at all. He told me to do everything on my own. Honestly, it sucks because they represent a country with such an unwelcoming tone."
"This place is trash. Everything about it is trash. The building is trash the inside is trash. The people who works here is trash. Things apparently gets done in Indonesian time. So expect delays, confusion, and disappointments. If you really don't need to come here. Do yourself a favor and don't. This place is trash!"
"I had to get an updated Police Report for immigration purposes for another country and being a non-Indonesian citizen, although former resident, but now a resident of the US, this was a challenging task, so I went to the Consulate in LA for help. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially the lady at the front desk (I forgot to get her name). She didn't hesitate to help me and learning I had travelled from San Diego, she made sure I got some answers that day. She called the Embassy in Washington DC to get information and helped me with the paperwork. She definitely went above and beyond. I am grateful for the help. It was also nice to be able to practice speaking Bahasa Indonesia again."
