"Guest services was tops. Room had no body wash and had to slip and slide my way to the next room for a bar of soap....mental note to check dispensers before getting into shower, even though I shouldn't have to."

"My stay was excellent. It's not fancy new. The the whole cabin in the woods theme is really nice and the fireplace in the room was a pleasant surprise! The staff is very friendly, and breakfast was suitable. The chorizo breakfast burrito day is the best. I'll definitely stay here again."

"Seems like BW likes to save a buck when it comes to the quality of there rooms . I always find things like: broken tile with sharp edges , fixtures that don't work (jets in the jacuzzi tub) or sealed off sauna area etc , also what's with the rooms keys , please upgrade to something that doesn't de magnetize if placed on top of a cell phone or other device . We all have several devices around us constantly ."

"When we initially arrived, we wanted to kick off our shoes and relax in the room... which wasn't really an option due to the dirty gritty state of the floors. Seeing chickens outside the entrance and being woken up by roosters was interesting. Left the first day after check-in around noon and came back at night to... the hotel room exactly how we left it (undone bed, trash in can, etc). I've stayed at expensive hotels and cheap motels and I always came back to a made up room, so this was an unpleasant first. By the last day of the trip, my child was coming down with something and since checkout wasn't until 11am, we thought we'd sleep in a bit. Such wasn't to be the case since shortly after 8am, the staff was banging on the door to come clean. After quickly going over to tell them to knock it off, they left and I thought I could try to get the kids, and myself, to sleep for a bit longer... but there's nothing like having to repeatedly get up and tell the staff to stop banging on the door every few minutes to really start the weekend morning in a sour mood. I spoke with the front desk at checkout and apparently, this is policy. Haven't stayed at any other hotel in Gilroy before, but I'm sure *any* of them will be better than this place."

"While this is an older hotel, it is extremely well managed. Very clean rooms, great fresh breakfast, clean pool/hot tub area but the staff really make a difference. We stayed 3 nights and the service from check in, housekeeping, and breakfast were outstanding. Our room was spotless everyday. Extra towels for the pool, parking and internet was great."
