"We had allergy while staying in the room. Looks like the air filter of the AC/heater was never changed and the dust from the carpets were not cleaned properly. The room was 'refreshed' only once during our 9 nights stay.. That too at our request. We had to collect the towels and the soaps at the counter."
"Rooms and service were adequate, the main problem was location. Though it is in a nice part of town, it is unfortunately placed next to a school which is quite loud. There is constant background noise of children yelling, but the main problem stems from school administrators who stand around hold megaphones to direct the students back into the school building. In all, a nice hotel is ruined by loud, overbearing school administrators who care more about yelling at their students than keeping the noise levels down."
"Staying at this hotel was a terrible experience. The staff members were incredibly unsanitary and extremely rude. In addition, the hotel was across the street from a school, which seemed to operated by an incompetent overweight latino fellow, who would not stop screaming through a bull horn."
"If incompetence was a highly sought after commodity, this place would be off the charts expensive. First of all, I have stayed in this Fairfield Inn a number of times. Each of them pleasant. If you never had to speak to any human working here, it would be a 10/10. But sadly, you can't do a mobile key and you MUST interact with humans that are just not capable of doing their simple job. It's surprising truly. And I want to write to corporate or the owner, because it wasn't just one employee it was every employee I interacted with. From the first person being annoyed I came to the front desk to check in, to the person in the morning nervous laughing after each question I asked. I requested a late check out on the app. You can do that she asked? Yes. I'm a lifetime platinum member. So I get to choose any time up to 4pm. So I chose 4pm. Oh, she says, we don't do 4pm anymore (even though this is exactly what the Marriott rules provide for platinum members). So she gives me 3pm. Then I ask if I need her to recode my keys. No she says, looking at me quizzically. Cut to later in the day, SURPRISE. My key doesn't work. Ugh. There's a sign at the front desk saying that due to staffing shortages no one is attending to the front desk. Initially it's there when she's clearly working in the office. Ugh. I decide I can't be nice anymore. She also was the same person who called me earlier in my room at noon asking if I was leaving anytime soon. No, I said, I just spoke to you. You put a note on my room that I had a 3pm check out. Oh she says, I forgot. I think I'll stay elsewhere next time. Unless they change to mobile keys. I just can't with the idiocy. You have one job. It's not hard."
"Friendly interactions with the staff elevated this stay. The location is fine. There were some noise issues overnight from other guests, but overall i was satisfied with the experience."
