Starting with the front desk worker Jenelle was very nice to us and very helpful, every time we left the room it would always be clean and with new towels, that is wonderful! "Was visiting Sacramento for the week (from NORTH CAROLINA) for my birthday, decided to spend a weekend in Santa Cruz because the weather was nice. Hotel not only advertises a heated pool but promotes it. Pool deck is filthy and is “heated” but hot heated enough to swim in. Only chose this hotel for the amenities and disappointed by them. Go somewhere else if you want a heated pool/ spa experience in winter. Parking at the hotel is also pay per day which is absurd. Location is hard to pull into and experience was really disappointing. Front desk lady was super helpful and got us a full refund."

"Rooms were very tidy and clean. Had a room with no street noise, comfy beds and has OK gym and pool. Breakfast was standard fare of oatmeal, bread selection, omelette or scrambled eggs, yoghurts and some fruits. Staff were friendly and welcoming."

"Arrived yesterday. Room cleanliness was poor. Long waiting for a staff to appear at the front desk. I called while standing at the front desk. No one picked up the phone. I needed to use the computer at the business center no staff at the front desk to get a password. Finally a staff shows up with attitude. The printer needed paper, the light on the printer was flashing, add paper. I was told the printer is new and is not connected. Well post a sign. Breakfast this morning, the coffee was cold and food was standard. Usually when you arrive at check in,your welcomed as a Diamond Spire IHG. This property is definitely suffering from bad service issues."

"If you are in Santa Cruz, this is the place too stay. I LOVE the desk reception. VERY friendly staff, especially the 3pm girl. I literally live at this hotel. Great amenities, food, services! I have been in this place since September on a work assignment. Y'all git in heahr!"
