"I stayed here a couple days ago, stayed one night then decided to stay another night, went down and paid for it. I went back to my room took a shower, got out when the housekeeper knocked, I said" Dont come in, I am in here 3 times, the 3rd time I had to yell. She opened the door and peeked in on me naked. I was like shocked never had anyone do that ever. Told the manager who was highly defensive of the housekeeper and said they can come 8n my room anytime they want. She then kicked me out and gave me a refund. I felt embarrassed, vulnerable and taken advantage of. I will never go back or to any motel 6 again. Invasion of privacy is a regular thing there too from what I hear."

"The gentleman Stefan (spelling?) at the front WAS THE BEST PART OF THE STAY. He is the kind of human than helps you still believe there is good left in the world. He went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed during my overnight stay, his kindness extended much farther than he knows! Thank you again kind, Sir. And I hope you didn't forget to tell your Mom she did an amazing job and there no way she couldn't be proud!"

"*Edited to add another check-in. I just checked in today and I have to give credit to ERIK for getting me a room after waiting 2 hours because the room I booked still needed to be cleaned. He got right to work and didn't let me wait another minute. (We have been here a while and have spent at least $25k at this motel alone - let's not forget). He has displayed EXCEPTIONAL customer service over and over. (Previous review) We have stayed at this motel for an extended amount of time while looking for a home to move into. I've read some of the other reviews and I'm kinda surprised. If this was a sketchy place to be, I would not be here. San Luis Obispo is one of the safest cities to live in. Motel 6 North is perfectly safe. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. Best of all, the price is the lowest in town (esp with pets). I see absolutely nothing wrong with this motel. The front desk staff (Diego and Eric) are exceptional with customer service. Kayla the GM has been nothing short of amazing to us and her staff. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are all very friendly and accommodating."

"This motel, Kayla Palmer the GE for all three locations in SLO county discriminated us, due to aggressively asking for my son's ID that is a minor. She admitted she didn't believe us and stated that he is kicked off the property due to no ID. Mind you IDs are for adults only. Kids are free.. Again. My son is a minor. She kept with her unprofessionalium. Rasists attitude towards us telling us she needs all id's. She received all ID's needed for our stay from when we checked in from the amazing gentleman who is usually at the front desk. Super sweet young man.. She thought our son was a adult and confirmed she thinks we're lying to her. How disgusting she is for anyone to have her "manage" the properties as though I'm not the only one that has had an issue with her as some visitors brought it to my attention and locals. Her approach, she wants to assume and judge and not believe families like mine,while she has her dog and family in the office with her at all times being hired under motel 6. Kayla literally told my husband and I numerous times how she needed our IDs. And how my son is kicked off the property. And that she will be glad to give our money back. I stated, no we're here until next week. And he is not, not an adult. She couldn't understand for some reason. No apologies for the unmade room that was first assigned to us nor an apology about her actions on demanding an ID and saying our child is kicked off . When she was in the wrong fully. So very disappointed how her actions were from the time we pulled in to parking lot asking us if this is the room we are checking into , and yet it wasn't ready or even cleaned. I wish her the best in the motions under treating families and individuals the way she does. A very sad energy that was in our face for false assumptions from the manager.
