"If you love Nintendo games, you will love Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood. The new land is a faithful recreation of the iconic video games, with colorful scenery, interactive elements, and thrilling rides. You can enter the land through a giant green warp pipe, and explore the Mushroom Kingdom. You can also wear a Power-Up Band, which lets you play mini-games and collect virtual coins throughout the land. The main attraction of the land is the Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ride, which is located inside Bowser's Castle. The ride is a high-tech marvel, combining augmented reality, projection mapping, and physical sets to create a realistic racing experience. You wear a headset that looks like Mario's cap, and you get to steer a kart through various courses, while collecting coins and items to use against your opponents. The ride is different every time, depending on your performance and the actions of other riders. The land also has a restaurant called Toadstool Cafe, which serves themed food and drinks inspired by the games. The menu includes items like mushroom pizza, fire flower salad, star cookies, and power-up punch. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. Super Nintendo World is a dream come true for any Nintendo fan, and a great addition to Universal Studios Hollywood. The land is full of fun activities, immersive theming, and nostalgic charm. It's a place where you can unleash your inner child, and enjoy the magic of the games. I highly recommend visiting Super Nintendo World, and experiencing it for yourself. It's a blast!"
"Really cool place. They definitely gave the Super Mario World justice. The whole area is a little small and contains only a ride, a restaurant, and a shop. Don’t be fooled, this place will definitely make your inner child happy. Just standing in the middle and looking around is super fun."
"This is really a great recreation. Well worth visiting. You only have one ride, which has an insane long queue time of over 2hrs. Worth doing to experience it. The queue journey is like walking through a museum of all the artefacts and characters from the game. Which makes the queue process more enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting it at least once!"
"This is a very small area and if you don’t buy the bracelets which is an extra cost to power up, kids are unable to participate in those activities. It is not wheelchair friendly as there’s not much room in the area. The early access pass basically just lets you in for an hour before it opens up to everyone else. It colorful and very noisy but there’s only one ride which is fun but short. There are characters to take pictures with and places to just sit. The bathrooms are super messy with water everywhere since they have blowers and not paper towels so most people just shake their hands off and the water just goes on the floor….. it was okay."
"From the second I walked in, I was in awe of the immersive nature of this experience. Within a minute of being there Toad came out for pictures and my world was complete!!! I smiled the entire we was there and I think I had more fun than my kids. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better we met an amazing employee named Ben Wu. He was so nice and gave us tons of helpful tips on navigating the park. Also, the food in Toads Cafe was really tasty. If you plan on eating there, make reservations as soon as you enter the park. I can't wait to return."
