"Wasn’t sure where we were headed when on the trail. Asked a jogger and realized we had to turn around. Beautiful serene scenery with plenty of shade and a few benches dispersed throughout."
"The bank is good for fishing, and the scenery in the area is very nice, especially if you go upstream a little bit towards Ransom Mill dam and beyond."
"Really nice path to walk, jog, bike or run. It’s dog friendly, but don’t forget to clean up! Great place to bring the kiddos who are old enough to enjoy the natural environment around them. The park is nestled right inside civilization but feels miles and miles away! The longest route is General Bragg Trailhead at 1.2 miles while the others are quite a bit shorter. Relaxing to say the least."
"I haven't been here in a couple years, when the city started working on the dam. I was a little apprehensive about the way it would look, and this is part of the reason my family and I waited so long to revisit. My worries were in vain, the place looks better than ever! I'm glad we waited until autumn, the crowds were mostly absent and the water level was high. We got a couple photos with the group, and had a great time. We will be going back, often. Highly recommend this location"
