"I'd give him less than one star of I could. This man should have his license to practice medicine revoked. Several years ago I was experiencing extreme pain all over. The worst of which was in my back. Of course most doctors these days see back pain as nothing more than an excuse to get narcotics. Without so much as a physical examination, he prescribed me tramadol. It didn't work. Antiinflamitories. Didn't work. My hands started swelling and I couldnt even pick up my morning cup of coffee. He had me grip his hands as hard as I could and seemed to be frustrated when I wasn't squeezing very hard. I simply couldn't. He gave me a steroid pack and sent me on my way. My next and last visit was a particularly bad one. I went in to once again tell him nothing he had given me was working and to request that he order some tests which is what he should have done at my first visit. Before I could finish my sentence her snapped at me saying "I'm not prescribing you narcotis." I replied that I wasn't asking for them. He then told me not to tell him how to write his prescriptions. That was the last straw. I'd had enough of my pain being ignore. Of being accused of being a pill seeker. So I spoke up. I told him that I was sick of all of that. He asked if I wanted to know why he did t believe me. Of course I did! I wanted to know why No one believed me. The pain was overwhelming and I litteraly though I was dying. He said he didn't beli eve me because people with real back pain can't sit like that. He was referring to the fact that I was sitting criss-cross on the exam . Well newsflas doc, turns out I have fibromyalgia. Once I began taking cymbalta my pain cleared up substatialy. I hope you read this. No doctor should treat his patient like a junkie for any reason. Every patient is different and doctors should treat the according to their individual needs. They should be unbiased. How dare you treat me like that. How dare you kick me out of your office because your ego is so big you can't handle when a patient challenges your decisions. Patients have a RIGHT to be fully involved in their care and what the put in their bodies and you have no right to dismiss them. This man is egotistical, rude and incompetent. I even told him I had an extensive family history of autoimmune disorders and that my aunt had lupus and mystenia Travis among others, he said that impossible and flat out called her a liar. A few weeks after this appointment he mailed me a discharge letter. He refused to be my doctor any longer."
