"I have wounds and stayed here. I had surgery preformed by Dr. Foust. She is great!!! Ana took care of me when I was there. She went above and beyond her duties. I recommend this hospital very highly!!!"
"I was sitting out in the parking lot waiting on my dad. He said he waited for 2 hours, after they brought him back, in a room and never saw anyone. He got up and walked out. This was the most worst service for a hospital I have ever heard of. We are never coming back here. If I could go lower than one star I would give it a half of a star or lower. Wouldn't recommend going here. They treat almost anyone in pain like they are drug addicts looking for pain meds or like they are imagining the pain they are in. They did the second thing to my sister when she came here. I'm sick of this place. They need to do better. Or be fired/shut down."
"I came here with severe pain hoping for lidocaine or antibiotics or anything. So I’m screaming in pain in the hospital room, nurse comes in and is pretty much like “who’s crying? you? ok well we can’t do anything for tooth pain. So shut up.” Then I promptly tried to leave considering they weren’t doing anything, and this vulture tells me I have to sit there in pain and wait for them to print my release papers. After waiting for 10 minutes I just left behind somebody when they opened the door. Almost felt like they were being slow on purpose because my crying annoyed them. Definitely treated me like a drug seeker. I left and went to fast pace & they gave me antibiotics and lidocaine. Ended up needing 2 root canals. So moral of the story is this place does not care about your pain. Another time before this I remember hearing two nurses talking about how I was slow for not being able to find their restroom lol horrible mean girl nurses, horrible care, wouldn’t even bring a sick goldfish here"
"My family has utilized HCMC several times for various medical needs since moving to the area. One visit was for a family member who was experiencing uncontrolled symptoms relating to terminal illness. I will say that the ER wait times were long due to staff shortages, but the care we received was second to none. They were kind and caring, sensitive to the situation and the unique needs of the patient. It seems as though this kind of patient-centered care is a rarity these days, but was present in every staff member we encountered. The fact that HCMC is a not for profit entity is also admirable. As a member of our community in Henry County, I’m glad that we have such a nice medical center to go to in times of need. Thank you for all you do!"
"This is one of the most incompetent emergency rooms ever. People were waiting up to 4 - 5 hours to be seen by a doctor. I spoke with the manager of the emergency room. She said that nobody in that emergency room had an emergency including the man bent over in pain. Also there were only five people in the emergency room. Worst ER Ever. Were we in an emergency? Probably not. But my diabetic husband had some wounds that needed to be looked at. We left and went to Fast pace Urgent care...20 minutes, a prescription for antibiotics and we were out."
