"Small and OK for a corner market."
"This is the quintessential example of the neighborhood corner store. The owners of the store are so sweet and kind to everybody that lives in the neighborhood. In the summertime they even put a dish out for dogs to drink water and if you come inside of the store they have a little bowl on top of a refrigerated case with doggie treats! For their loyal customers they'll give you a little bit of credit so that you can buy that soda or that candy bar and bring the money back the next day. I truly love this quaint little store that's right in the heart of midtown! May you be blessed with many more years of service peace market ♥️"
"Awesome Market so neighborly always great pple Raj and Jack we love you guys keep up the great work . Good luck cheers."
"Nice owner. Works hard to have things in stock. A little more expensive but understandable for a small business and worth it to get what you need. I’ve always felt safe here."
"Pretty grossed out by this place. I’ve come in on many occasions as I live in the neighborhood, and an employee there has regularly made gross comments about my body or catcalled me. I finally said something to the owner, who shrugged and did nothing. The other man tried to defend the catcaller saying “it was a compliment”, then the catcaller himself got into it with me, yelling at me and insulting me and insisting it was a compliment (it’s sexual harassment). He started making his way toward me, I told him to stay away, back up, but he didn’t listen. I didn’t know what his motives were and panicked, so I hit him. He went to grab me, but I pushed him into a rack of twinkies. All the while, the owner does NOTHING. I’ve seen other reviews on yelp about being catcalled and sexually harassed made by other women, so clearly the owner doesn’t care and allows it to happen regularly. I don’t know anywhere that allows their employees to talk to or about customers the way they let this man on a regular basis talk about me, and apparently other women, too."
