Reviews
"Love this place, they usually have what I need and the staff is super friendly. And they let me bring my dog in!!! Not a lot of grocery/convenience stores let that happen."
"Can't stress enough how overpriced everything in the store is. I purchased gummies, and didn't notice they cost $4.75 until after my change was given back. I told the clerk this was 2 dollars more than I've ever paid for them anywhere ever and his reply was a condescending "sugar is expensive." The dude had like 100 pounds on me so it was a confusing tactic, but wtv. I live a block away and I'll be letting everyone know. "
"Owner is a price gouger and look at the response he has given to negative reviews. Replying with laughing emojis? Clearly youre a manchild running daddys business. Place is good for booze but the prices on food are inexcusable. All the cashiers are friendly. Owner also charges a 50 cent card free for for all transactions which is against both Visa and Mastercard policy. Owner is aware of this. Visa and Mastercard will be next."
"The owner might feel however he wants about his business but the truth about his business always comes from customers... on sunday (01/08/2023) when there was partial power failure in Downtown Sac following the storm, the best practice would have been to close your shop as many did or sell the products at their right prices. I checked up an item I have been buying, there was no price tag on it. Funny enough, the lady there took advantage of the power failure and doubled the price (100%). You wouldn't drive to a shop to buy an item and then the prices are hiked outrageously just because of power failure. Who does that?"
"The employees were basic friendly but they really do an unwelcoming and aggressive job when it comes to the restroom. I used it and even cleaned up the area and did additional cleaning to make it nice for the convenience store person because I used to work in one of these places and I know nobody likes to clean up a restroom for anybody. Yes I purchased stuff here first. Even so, one minute into closing the door I hear a bang on the door telling me I have to get out immediately because the person who works there is going to get in trouble because I used the bathroom. When human decency takes a backseat to business operations I cannot favorably rate an establishment because it's not welcoming and it's anti-human. The people were nice and friendly until they weren't and for no moral reason. Y'all can do better. Do you really want to be known as the heartless community store? What does it say about you and your customers? That you don't want to work while you're at work? That you actually don't care about people? Have some human decency and respect others as you would love them to respect you. They do not be following the Golden rule here."
